Links & Lyrics

We are looking forward to 2009 Links & Lyrics Golf Classic and Songwriters Showcase Gala. You will not want to miss this prestige golf tournament and songwriter showcase!
The May 8, 2009 event will feature a premier golf experience hosted by Board member and radio personality Ed Clements, incredible live music performance, great food, and the outstanding only-in-Austin ambiance Barton Creek Country Club and the University of Texas Alumni Center offer.
The Friday afternoon Golf Classic at Barton Creek is made even more enjoyable by the forecaddie assigned to each foursome. Receive VIP treatment as they find balls, keep score, rake bunkers and keep the speed of play quick.

That evening, you will see why Austin is called the “Live Music Capital of the World” with our distinctive Songwriters Showcase Gala. You will enjoy an extraordinary live music performance combining award-winning #1 hits and the “inside” story of life on Music Row. Three great Nashville songwriters of our generation, multiple Billboard #1 hit writer Scotty Emerick, NSAI Song of the Year writer Allen Shamblin, and Grammy winner and Hall of Fame writer Paul Overstreet, will give you an evening to remember!

Individual tickets are now available for both the Golf Classic and the Songwriters Showcase Gala. A golf foursome may be purchased for $1000 or $250 per individual golfer. Tickets for the Songwriters Showcase Gala may be purchased for $500 per couple or $250 per individual ticket.
