The Alzheimer's Association, Capital of Texas Chapter offers numerous resources to assist the caregiver.

Once a month, we hold an Alzheimer’s 101 session, designed to guide Alzheimer’s clients and family members through all aspects of the disease.

Our Lending Library has books and tapes available to answer questions on most topics related to caregiving.

There are seven different Respite centers available within our seventeen county area. These centers allow the caregiver to take their loved one to a church or synagogue for stimulating activities while they enjoy a short time of relief from caregiving.

Safe Return, a national-wide program, helps identify, locate, and return individuals who have wandered away.

We may have a Speaker available for conducting presentations and educational talks to community groups that want to learn more about Alzheimer's Disease. If interested, please contact a Program Specialist, 512-241-0420 x 10.

There are numerous Support Groups in our coverage area sponsored through assistance of the Alzheimer's Association, Capital of Texas Chapter.
